AWS Announces a New Service – Amazon AppStream

Its re:Invent season, and as always Amazon has launched two new services today. This one is called Amazon AppStream. This service lets you develop applications that has a backend that automatically run on AWS and does all the heavy lifting. This allows the front-end client to be a variety of smaller devices like tablets, phones, laptops, etc. Imagine you are developing a resource intensive game for phones; the experience that the user gets can be limited by the resources the user’s phone has. Instead, using Amazon AppStream, the backend heavy lifting can be moved to AWS without much effort. And the front end code will run on phones, using the backend automatically as per the need.

This sounds like a revolutionary.. For more information and a video visit: https://aws.amazon.com/appstream/
